I was given a .22 cylinder, now I'm trying to figure out what it belongs to, so I can find it a home. It is blued steel, six shot, UNFLUTED, and is marked .22 WMRF in about the center of the cylinder, around it's radius. It is NOT a Ruger, it is somewhat smaller in diameter. The one feature that should help ID it is the hole for the base pin is two different diameters, the front is about twice the diameter of the rear. The "star" at the back of the cylinder is quite a bit smaller then a Ruger's, and very well machined. Three numbers are well stamped on cylinder ( forget which end ), which no doubt are the last 3 digits of original serial #. All in all, it is very well made, and I'd like to have it put to use.
Any idea's??
Thanks,
Mark
