Valmet 412 Butt Plate
« on: March 15, 2009, 04:30:53 AM »
I have a Valmet 412 with a solid plastic butt plate. The plate is broken and I need a replacement.  Where can I find one?

I'd put a thin recoil pad on it...  It's a HUGE improvement over the plastic...

Be careful as I understand there is a screw pattern difference with a few versions of the Valmet butt plates.  I have a plastic (it was cracked) which I replaced with the rubber.  Like Drillingman saz the rubber is much more comfortable.

Finding new old stock is difficult.
