Anyone shooting these slugs? Does anyone have an opinion good or bad? I'm shooting a Benelli M1 slug gun. Any slug input would be appreciated!!

Deputy,
What slug did you finally get to shoot? I am shooting a Benelli M1 24 inch rifled barrel. I cannot locate the Hornady slugs so I must go in a different direction. The Federal Preimum/Barnes looks like a good bet. What are your thoughts. Thanks for any and all comments..............

I ordered a case of the H2K's for a friend and his buddies that hunt with slugs in Iowa. They all complained that they would not shoot in their guns. I talked them into bringing their guns and ammo to the range, It did not take long to figure out the problem when I loaded empty shell in their gun. The H2k's kick like a mule. I shot their 4 different guns at 100 yards and all shot 2" or less.

trust me no flinch here!  my guns did not like the h2k load!   i use currently the winchester gold and the lightfield slugs even out of my 3.5  rifled guns  mossberg and H&R!    i have found most slug guns with a twist of 1in23 24 etc.... like the winchester and lightfields quite well the mossberg series with a 1in36 twist like the lightfields and the fuller profile slugs brenneke etc.... but themn again to each gun is own now i shoot at test several guns and hundereds of slugs a year through various guns  i have found in the 3 m1 i have shot they liked the winchesters and the lightfields about the same at 125 yds i have shot groups with lightfeilds out of my H&R  that are around 1.5  at 100yds from the bench 5 shot group but then again it is ported, stressed relived, has a 3 pound trigger also some of the high speed slugs do not prouduce a fast killing shot! i have yet to have any of the 7 deer shot with lightfields take a step!  2 shot with winchesters 1900fps load ran  well before dropping one was a double lung another was a broadside perfect shoulder shot!  go figure ! i would try the lightfields and winchesters
