Auto Odnance Bull Pup 40 S&W barrel?
« on: September 04, 2003, 08:55:26 AM »
I have most of an Auto Odnance 40 S&W Real short 1911. Think it was called a bull pup?
Does anyone have a line on a new/replacement barrel for this?
New owners of AO don't speak customer service so they're no help what so ever.
Any help suggestions etc appreciated.
Thanks.

Believe what you are looking for is  a Pit Bull, Try the web address I found the barrel in .45 auto, but not .40. maybe a call will turn up something. I  am surprised at the lack of support, Kahr arms usually has a good reputation, but I dont think that model is in production anymore. Good Luck

Pit Bull 40 S&W barrel
« Reply #3 on: September 18, 2003, 05:42:35 AM »
Folks,
Thanks for the replies.
I do remember Pit Bull in the documentation of the pistol.
I'll contact Brownells about a barrel.
Looked through their catalog and didn't see anything which looked correct.
I'll see if maybe a regular length 40 S&W barrel can be cropped to fit.
Thanks again for the answers.
Sorry for delay in my thank you response. I was forced to take a vacation! :-)
