Body Armor Test, gone bad

You might be a redneck... if you test your body armor while wearing it.

Inbreeding is alive and well !!  ;D  I had a friend who let his brother-in-law shoot him with a 22 rimfire rifle while wearing a vest a few years ago, he's got a pretty good scar from it. When I was in the army we were issued kevlar flack vest(not made to stop a bullet, only flack and schardes from grenades) one of the guys in my platoon decided to see if it would stop a bullet from his kimber 45. He hung it on a fence post(at least he was smart enough not to wear it) and shot it. It went through both sides.I believe that experiment cost him about $350.    Dave

The "Darwin" Awards always have room for another fool that takes himself out of the human gene pool by doing something as stupid as this. 

The insane person that thought it would be "OK" to shoot someone wearing a "bullet proof" vest point blank should be tried for Attempted Murder in the First Degree.  He and his co-hort (the videographer) should be tried for Murder.

The way the video started I was thinking the shooter would miss the vest and hit flesh.
The kid is not near as tough as he acted!

That bullet didn't go thru. My buddy who allowed himself to be shot with the 22lr while wearing a vest suffered what looked like a burn wound, the bullet didn't penetrate, it looked about what that boy in the video recieved. Also.....that video may be fake, you don't see no recoil and the slide never moves.......is that from poor video quality or is it fake???     Dave

If you look really close you can see the slide move.  I think it is hard to see do to poor video quality.

the idiot who pulled the trigger either missed or the bullet skidded off the armor plate and into the other idiot's chest, just above and slightly to the left of the left nipple, I believe.  That wound you see is a entry hole and I think the slug dropped into the kid's lung, which is why he was coughing, and didn't feel 'too good'.....

I'm thinking that eventually this particular puddle in the gene pool will basically dry up but I'm not so sure - the gov't pays them to propagate...................and they vote..................
