I bought out a large lot of reloading supplies and included were a large shoe box of .410 hulls. If I recall some were 2 1/2 or 3/4 and some were 3" if that makes sense.  I would be happy to give them to you if would cover shipping.
When you are right you've stopped learning.

Thanks Moosemoose.  Your email got lost to me when I moved.  If you still have the 410 hulls, check and see if they are WW plastic or Remington Premiers.  Those are the only ones I have had any luck reloading.  If they are, I would gladly pay shipping.   Mac

.444 Marlin cases do make satisfactory .410 ammo.  Too bad they are hard to find, but no conversion process is required.

If you shoot 2 1/2" skeet loads,  You need quite a few hulls.  I buy new shells at wally world and save the empties.  Wally world price by the box is about the best price.  When I first started reloading 410 I bought a flat and saved the empties.  Found out later I would have been better off buying them at wally world by the box.  By the way,  Winchester HS hulls are the pick of the litter.  and for reloading w296/H110 is the best powder for hull life.  I have gotten about 8 cycles so far and hop[e to get 10 or more.  Other than Winchester, Remington is pretty good but all others fall into the poor category.   In terms of 3" I have no idea because I have never bought them

I was waiting to get my order back before I recomended them.

WWW:precisionreloading.com

Got 100 FOICCHI 2 1/2" primed for $13.49,
      100 once fired Rem black 2 1/2" for $10.00,
      .410 roll crimper for $25.99.
shipping was a little steep at $14.83, I don't know what a larger buy would have done to the shipping cost, but I wanted what I ordered and I'm satisfied.

I haven't any connection to this company, but I will order from them again...steg

I find bpi very effective to locate .410 hulls as well.  The multi-hull they carry works wonderful and they are built to a designated spec so as to eliminate the variances from batch to batch for factory hulls.
