It wouldn't be so bad if the Jays were hungry.
But I found out one year after watching them scarf up all the bird seed day after day, they chug that seed down into a pouch and haul it off to bury it some where.
The next spring I was on the mountain side near my home, and there was corn growing all over the place. Took me awhile to put two and two together. It was the Jays that did it.
