Mueller 3-9X40mm Sport Dot scope

I have several Mueller APV's and I really like them. I'm thinking of getting a
Mueller 3-9X40mm Sport Dot scope for a rifle that I'm putting together.
Does anyone here have one of these scopes? If you do, how do you
like it?

Well, I do have one.  By all appearances it is a very nice scope and the optics appear to be better than usual at such an attractive price..  But I have to confess that I haven't used it yet.  I am too much a buyer and too little a user.

Thanks Cement Man. I guess I will just give one a try. I don't think a person can go too far
wrong with with just about anything that Mueller offers. Their APV's are sure a lot of scope
for the money, and I'd be willing to bet that the 3-9X40mm Sport Dot will be as well.

Mueller scopes do have a good reputation for value and customer service, so I believe you'll be pleased.  In the mean time, I NEED to go shooting and USE mine - then I can give a more complete opinion.  Good Shootin'. :)

I have one and haven't used it much either.

My only complain is the cross hairs are too thick for paper punching.  I know from trying to sight in my rifle at 100 yards...but when shooting critters it's nice to have the thicker cross hairs and the "red dot" for quick shooting.
