Clement's fishing barge.

Anyone ever been there?

I'm going April 3rd and was wondering if anyone could give me a heads up on what it's like, equipment to bring etc.

I just picked up a Shimano spirex and bionic blade combo so I'm set for rod/reel.

They park barges on the Mississippi, and you fish off of them. I heard they're using heavy (7/8oz) jigs and river rigs.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Jim,

I'm not familiar with Clements, nor any of the river fishing operations in Wisconsin. But I did find Clement's website and they at least look like the real deal. It appeared they have been in business for around 67 years and if it's true, then that says something positive about them.

Sorry I couldn't be of some help to you. I will offer you the best of luck and hope you catch your limit and have a safe, fun, adventure out on the Mississippi.
