Thursday, March 24, 2009, good afternoon from Montana!

Good afternoon  Montanan, dpe, Southpaw, Forster, MT_Sourdough, Atlaw, pab1, newstart2k, Skunk, kitchawan kid, lurker, CJ, Bilmac, thxmrgarand, Syncerus, Mcwoodduck, Brennemanj83, Old Shooter and TY22!!!

It's only 39 Degrees this afternoon, cloudy and overcast.

Had a pretty hard workout at physical therapy yesterday and my knee is sore today. The therapist gave me some medico-babble talk explaining how they scraped my knee cap and it's healing, but it isn't tracking right because the thigh muscles are still not strong enough....blab bla bla bla.

Went to the scrap yard to look for an old hot water heater and cut the outer protective jacket off it and use the "tin"  to make a form and lid for my furnace. They had 55 pounds of flat sheet lead that they sold me for $5.  Got the hose I needed at Ben Taylors. Paid the same price at Ben Taylors to have a 20 foot piece made up as it was to buy a 5 foot hose for a propane barbecue at the hardware store.  American pipe had the black iron pipe fittings I needed so I am ready to make the burner.    Bottom line went out scouting for materials for my melting furnace and after walking around looking for stuff I hurt, but it was much more theraputic then having the therapist bend my knee back ove my shoulder. :)

So what have you guys been doing for your therapy?

Good Afternoon Montana!!

We too have another dark, dreary, overcast, day here in NE Wisconsin.

Double D,

I had to have some extensive physical therapy back in the early 80s and it was no picnic. Fortunately for me though, the therapist was one of the most beautiful gals I've ever seen grace the floors of a hospital, so that made going in for PT a little easier. ;)

Partly cloudy in Billings today, only needed a light jacket.  My therapy is going out and shooting.  Takes care of what ever ails me, then I go home and look at the prettiest little gal you ever saw in a hospital, my wife. ;D  And no, she isn't standing behind me while I type this. :D  DP

55 lbs @ $5  you got a pretty good deal .  The local H-O store is having a battery round up this Friday . They will give $5 gift certificate for each old battery brought in . A few years back I broke up several batteries and melted down the lead plates .  Took a lot of time and energy to melt the lead down into ingots . Your bargin buy looks a lot better to me.

Hope the knee keeps on healing , nothing worse than a bum knee when you should be out shoot'n somet'n.
