Good question.  That stock on the 835 is about 1/2 inch to long for me.  I've been thinking about cutting it down and the LimbSaver pad has really impressed me!

Limbsaver lists prefits for the 835 on their website, it's probably the same one as the standard 835, I put one on mine before I ever shot it, the OEM pad is hard as a rock!!

Thanks for the reply guy's, it is the 10200 that fits the synthetic and I believe it is 1996 and newer.

Atlaw, I'm in a different boat, I could actually use a little more length, but the extra little bit from the new pad does seem to helpin the fit.

I''m going to pattern it tonight for turkeys and see how it feels.

When I got my 835 I knew I was going to take a beatiing while patterning different turkey loads so I filled the hollow syn. stock with lead shot.  Shooting on a bench, it really tamed the recoil.  I took the shot out when I started turkey hunting so it would be better balanced.  I decided I could stand stand the recoil from the 3.5" turkey loads for two or three shots a year.  I have learned to lean forward when I have only a tee shirt between me and a rough barked tree.  I did put a limbsaver on my TC 50 cal muzzleloader and have not been the least bit sorry.   I have had good luck with the 'grind to fit' limbsaver pads on a couple of rifle stocks I have made.
