My buddy has a Springfield Armory SA48 which is a Brazilian metric FAL .308 like the Belgian FN FAL. At a gun show he found a slide on ejection port cover for his top cover. It operates just like an AR15, it snaps closed and flips open when the bolt is opened. It is very well made and looks perfect. He does not know where it was made, neither do I. Neither of us has seen another like it, I have done a search on it, and when he purchased it at the gun show no more information could be found. Is anybody here into FALs that knows who made it?
