anyone know what the twist rate is for  #3 ruger in 223

Twist rate in the 2009 No.1 is 1:9" but during the time of the Ruger#3 were built, I don't think it is anything less than 1:12" but I don't know for sure.

I'm not sure. I asked Ruger about the .22 Hornet and it is 1:12. It is easy enough to measure with a cleaning rod, tight patch and tape.

I was pretty sure my .223 #3 is 1:10. 
I checked it when I brought it home seven or eight years ago - back when  they were $325 to $350.
