My 1 & only representative....

Jim Tedisco looks like he's going down after 20+ years of representing MY interests.  He is running in a republican district and has stood for pro family, pro gun, low tax,  small government,& traditional family values.  His oppoent has no experience , has failed to pay taxes on one of the businesses he owns,  has only lived in NY for last 4 years, and has not voted in past years.  I also learned that the yuppie private girls college in his district has organized to vote even though they are not from the area & will likely move out upon graduation.  If this happens I will have 0-1  government leaders in state, local, & federal office.

I am in westchester co. and feel your pain,we just have no one left and it's getting worse,it seems the city is just moveing closer very quickly.Even local and school votes are controled by liberals with alot of money and no roots.A working man is lost here.

I am just to the north in Dutchess and it's getting the same way here. Gotta get out and vote for Tedisco tomorrow.

I'm voteing for Jim Tedesco also. He is a supporter of the second ammendment ,and we will need all of them we can get.

I think the dems have pegged tedisco as a typical albany politician and he may well lose to murphy who has no experience except as a ceo who didn't pay his taxes.

District 20 is big. Not sure if it reaches into Putnam but it covers my area (central Dutchess, all the way up to Albany and west at least as far as Otsego County. Not sure where Murphy stands on the 2nd amendment, but I know my vote went to Tedisco today. Haven't heard results yet.

Murphy leads by 59 votes so they need to count some 5,000 write-ins.  Tedisco is expected to get 2/3 of write-is.  This may take couple weeks.

I think Tedisco will get it, given that it is likely that the majority of ~6,000 absentee ballots will go republican. Considering that the democrat won this district last time by about a 60-40 margin, this is good news. Suggests that the democrats are faltering under the weight of Obama.

That's for sure. Unfortunatey Silver is the guy running this state right now. That is scary! :o Almost (notice I said almost) makes we wish Eliot was still here. At least he was so arrogant it was downright fun hating him and joking about him. Regardless, it is some scary times with the trio we have in NY and the trio we have in Washington running things. Need some balance badly.

Looks like it's about over for Tedisco. He is now down over 200 votes.  Even if all the  contested votes go in his favor, Murphey's lead looks insurmountable.  I am depressed!!!  I have lost all faith in the electoral process and the dumbed down electorate.
