Well they say if you don't like the weather in Montana, wait an hour...given yesterday afternoon's pleasant weather I was hoping for a nice Saturday. No luck. It's snowing out, heavy wet spring snow, 30 degrees. Good day to read a book.
I have been reading Bernard Cornwell this winter. I have made it my goal this winter to read every thing he wrote that I hadn't previously read. Just finished his Lords of the North. It the 3rd in Cornwell's Saxon series. I am reading Vagabond right now, 2nd in his Grail Quest series. Cornwell is best known for his Sharpe's Rifle's series.
While I was in South Africa I set out to read and reread every Wilbur Smith book he wrote, while I was in Africa.. I made read 28 of his 30 books while i was there. Wilbur Smith is a South African who rights adventure novel and Africa is his venue.
A good source for books is
www.abebooks.com. This is a search engine of world wide booksellers. If you are looking for a book this is the place to look. When you search for a book you will get a hit list of world wide sellers listed by price. Seldom is Amazon dot com books on the first page, they are two expensive. I just bought 10 Bernard Cornwell books at a $1 a book.
What do you guys read?
