A re-cap of the New Guy on the Block, I welcome your thought
« on: March 29, 2009, 02:23:35 AM »
1. The American people elect a black president with a total of 142
days experience as a US Senator from the most politically corrupt state in America whose governor is ousted from office. The President's first official act is to order the close of Gitmo and make sure terrorists
civil rights are not violated.
2. The U..S. Congress rushes to confirm a black Attorney General, Eric
Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo
Terrorists.

3.. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta has absolutely no experience.

4. We got the most corrupt female in America as Secretary of State;
bought and paid for.

5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary.

6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption
charges.

7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew
under charges.

8.. A Labor Sec'y nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical
conduct.

9.. A Sec'y HHS nominee who withdrew under charges of cheating on his
taxes.

10.. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute
campaign promise that no lobbyists would be appointed.

And that's just the first three weeks. . . but who's counting?

IS America being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ~ Barrack, Nancy, and Harry ~ and they are still trying to define stimulus...."it's
spending"...

The congress passes the $800,000,000,000 (that's $800 billion) pork
loaded spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen of your tax dollars ($13 per week) making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated] that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV and go home and watch Telemundo!

Yee-haw!!! Only in America, what a country...

Are we SCREWED... ?

Yes. Basically this administration is far worse than the last one. It will do more damage to our country than Bush could have ever dreamed of doing. These socialist are working to change the entire reason this country exists, openly, consciously & brazenly. The main stream media is giving them a free-pass like none I could have ever imagined. The corruption on these bail outs by the Obanation administration and their friends in congress is just unreal. The press is largely silent. You would think that Senator Dode, Guetner and Obama made a mistake on their travel exspense report of something!

If she put her head down in a bucket of hot water it would become "UGLY SOUP".

Tommy,

Your original post was articulate and to the point without being obtuse or over the top. Way to go!

I replied in a way that I thought might be humorous and yet still convey my feelings of distaste for our Speaker of the House.

When another forum member responded with a little humor I responded in kind. I apologize for marginalizing your thread when it was obvious you were looking for more serious responses.

If you would like one day to have a discussion of lets say...the comparison of our national debt to the gross domestic product of our nation which will give you a bit more information as to just how deep in the well we are just let me know.

Again my apologies.

Total corruption in  Washington...and the major media has lockjaw ! The senate leader is a jackass..and not just because it is his party symbol..the "shreiker" of the house is an idiot..and today the federal government took over General Motors and fired the boss..while the head of the postal service is an utter failure..but gets over a 100K raise and KEEPS it !

Why do we call the prez, prez Obama...when we surely know by now that billionaire George Soros is the "shadow president" who operates the strings attached to "Howdy Doody" Obama.

Tommy,

I did not give your post it's due. I should have been a bit more serious. I just get so disgusted with the whole Obama thing I have a tendencey to try to find a way to laugh instead of treating it like the disaster that it is.

Sorry about that.

Did you realize that President Obama probably signed his stimulus package at the same desk where President Clinton got his package stimulated?

If I was to move into the White House I would have to burn that desk. There is just no way I am touching it after Clinton and the interns had their go around with it. Dale

Tommy,

I feel your pain, I can't watch the TV any more either. I drive around town and see all the Obomination stickers on peoples cars and I catch myself wanting to run them off the road.

I worry greatly about getting things turned around in 2012. I hear Romney is starting to talk it up already. Sarah is hinting as well as Steele and Jindal. I just don't know.

I didn't vote for McCain in the primary but of course fully supported him once he was chosen. He has certainly been a dissapointment since the election. he could have become a strong leader of the conservative movement but he has apparently chosen not to.

I.me not sure the next step can be anything but try to survive the next few years and get our voice heard in the 10 elections. then get our candidate for 2012 up front in the light early and often.

Thats my thoughts anyway.

None of the points in the original post would be terribly disturbing if there was another party in the US government. But the Republicans are dead, and they have no hope of a come back during the next 4 years. People are still fed up with them, maybe terminally so. It's a great time for strong third party to make some progress.

now is the time to straiten  out the republican party

too  hard  to start a new party

i  tried with the libertaian party  for  20  years

all  i  accomplised  is helping the democrats  for my efforts

the last  libertarian party meeting  i  anounced i would leave and join  the republican party
if  obama  got elected  and  any of them  indended  to   support  bob barr [the libertarian candidate]

in  reality  the lessor or  the greater  of 2 evils  WILL  WIN
you can choose between  the 2 if  you like
in the primaries  you can even minamize  the lessor of the 2 evils
doesn't matter  if  you vote  3rd party  or  stay  home .........you  won't matter

You know i heard all this the party is dead and they will never recover BS a few years ago. It was the talking heads talking about the Democrats when "W" won the first time! BS BS BS The Republican party aint dead the middle of the road mamby pamby bipartisan crap is dead.

Personally I think the two party system has gotten us where we are today. but That and $2.00 will get you coffee some places.

Now conservatism for sure ain't dead, Ronald Reagen came to office and and fixed all the BS inflation and tax raising that Jimma Carta spawned during his reign of idiocy. and Someone will come along in 2012 and put this idiot out of office, Whoever it is will have a tremendous job cause this fool is trying to destroy this country(at least the one we all knew) but the people of this country are resilient and they will overcome this Tyranny. And the only person that will have any chance will be a conservative Republican!

I still can't believe that mac was the best that the republicans could come up with!
Either they knew they would lose so they just put a body out there, or no-one wanted the job.

(notice I said they-not we, I am a conservative not sure anymore if I'm a republican)

Well you know how it works, there was a handfull of guys out there that wanna be'd the president he was the only one after the primaries that had a prayer! ya know he was a contender when "W" ran the first time. If he would have been a conservative and held his ground he would have won.

Personally i liked fred tompson he could not buy a primary win!

Then there was the governor of Arkansas, same thing

Then of course Romney the morman, not a chance!

The former mayor of NY, too much baggage and he liked abortion

So Mcain by default to bad for US

Good post OP.  I just don't trust them SOBs in office right now. I like a few, but they could screw up and give in. I really liked Ron Paul.
