Barrel twists?
« on: March 29, 2009, 07:56:02 AM »
Is the barrel twists in the FAQ pages still correct and up to date? I have a Survivor model in .308, and was wondering if it's still a 1 and 10 twist.

What is the best way to measure the bore by the way, i've read several ways.

Yes, as far as we know, there are always exceptions as Kurt learned on his Hornet, best way to learn what you twist is, is to check it with a rod. Bore slugging and chamber casting are both covered in the FAQs too.
