Dragoon,
The Ruger K10/22T is one I never owned but I have helped a couple of guys work on theirs. In both cases one ring is higher than the other. Second it's easy to strip the threads on the clamp screws. I've done it a few times myself. I give myself a mental kick in the area of the wallet and tell myself to watch out and not to do it again(till the next time). Getting new rings is the way to go, trying to fox the old ones, in my opinion, is not worth the effort. Let me know how everything works out. Lawdog
