SB-1 357MAG AND 44 MAG question

Will handi fit a barrel to an older sb-1 frame. seems that they are now building them on the shotgun platform so I was wondering if they would fit an old one? Thanks

H&R will fit any SB1 frame with either 357mag or 44mag barrel made after 1987.I called customer service to confirm it.I have a 44mag barrel I got from the classifieds on on of my SB1 frames.
