Earthquakes
« on: March 30, 2009, 05:26:11 PM »
national news tonight covered the story about the earthquake in California.  But no mention of the three we had here in Alaska yesterday and today.  Or no mention about the fact that Mt Redoubt blew again this morning.  The only thing they had was how some enviromental group is screaming about the oil in a storage facility that might be endangered by a mud slide.  If it's not negative about Alaska they don't seem interested in reporting about it.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Hollywood is not in Alaska, and that is what TV "news" is about.
