Obama painted into a corner at GM
« on: April 01, 2009, 08:07:30 AM »
Obama's options are:
1) Take tough measures that have a negative effect on union jobs, therefore making him look bad with all unions.
2) Keep pumping money into it, therefore making him look bad to all the other voters
3) Find a scapegoat

So who will the scapegoat be? I don't see how he can release ownership of this problem now.
Safety first

Obama is the CEO now....and he is already talking bankrupt....

He owns it....and if he decides to have them tool up for electric cars....we won't buy them.  He goes down with them either way.

They broke it...they own it.

Make no mistake about it , he will do all he can to reward the UAW workers. The bailout mania backfired on him as the people just will not tolerate any more money going to GM.

That has put him in this spot where he will have to put them into bankrupcy and take the blame for it. However if there is anyway he can get around it by just creating "NEW LAWS" he will.

Everyone or most everyone is starting to see what a fool he really is. I hope his plans fail and the UAW turns on him.
