Looking for a hunting partner in Alaska
« on: April 03, 2009, 02:51:19 PM »
I'm moving to Fairbanks, Alaska in October and I would like to line up someone to hunt with and a few places to go. I'm not at all familiar with hunting that part of the country and since I just found out that I'm moving there I have'nt had a chance to research it yet. I'll omly be there for three years so I'd like to mhit the ground running.  If someone is interested in helping me out please let me know.    Thanks, Mike

Disreguard this post.   I removed it.   Rog

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Look at the fourth word in his post.  He is moving to fairbanks.

Darn missed that, reading too much.  Mike I apologize.  Boy do I feel stupid, thanks for pointing it out to me, Corbanzo.  Now I can correct my mistake.  Mike PM me your addrress and I will send you a copy of the new hunting regs when they come out the first of July.

First off Mike Hunting season starts in August and into September.  After that it is only drawing and registration hunts.  You have to be here one year to become a resident for hunting purposes.  Non resident tags are expensive, the regs will have that listed.
