I have a tattered old cardboard box of 102 45gr. bullets which the box says are .223" with a 4 cal. ogive. My vernier calipers verify the measurement. I take these to be Hornet bullets for the older Hornet rifles that used .223" bullets rather than .224"
I'm curious as to how old these would be? 1960s? 1950s? I haven't been around that long so I don't have any way to know. They worth anything to anybody other than an old Hornet shooter? I'm not going to put them down the tube of my 223 Rem. Thanks for any help.
