did this 6" butcher blade took the plastic handle of and did a west australian lace sheoak handle,cant stand those plastic handles,the first pic is the true color of the wood no stain just raw linseed and raw olive oil rubed in by had 6 coats.

Good job. Nicely shaped handle, and it's thick enough to provide a good grip when wet/greasy.
