BH209 prices? Man!!!
« on: April 05, 2009, 05:29:18 PM »
I went to bass pro yesterday in search of the new bh209. They had it on sale for 24.99 last winter and I wish now that I bought a ton. It's gone up to 39.99!!! :o  I really want to use this stuff but I just can't justify it at that price. I don't mind spending a little more on anything for quality, but this is just too much. Is that price the norm for you guys that use it? Where are the best prices on BH to be had? ???  thanks,   jammer

$26.65 at Powder Valley Inc.

Click on link, then click on powders, then click on Accurate Arms, Blackhorn 209 on top line.

Let them know that they are out of line on their prices and to quit gouging their customers. Give them a chance to price match and if they don't just buy it from somewhere else.

Busta... Thanks for that link.   ;)

That's the cheapest I've seen.  Plus they also had my XTP's and primers, in stock at real good prices.  They  have an apology on their home page, that they are 5 days behind in processing their orders.  That's OK... worth the wait for their prices.

rt_con,

Your welcome. These Powder Suppliers/Distributors have just been swamped for a few months now.  ;)

Those prices don't include an at least $22.00 Haz-Mat charge per 50 Lbs. for shipping.

Yeah... That Haz-Mat charge is a fact of life, no matter where you order online.  I have no choice, as they don't sell BH209 locally.  The key for me is to order Haz-Mat items for a group... and split the $22 fee and shipping to make it cost effective.
