jb quick wearability

how good do this stuff wear when used to shim barrel pivots?lubed after fitting of course.thanks.

JB weld can be a hell of a product with the right application. As for a shim, I have had no real sucess with it.... some have had a little with a scope mount in the shotgun forum if memory serves me correctly. But that's all I have on memory..

I've not used it alone, but I've used it to hold steel shims in the pivot in fitting a LOT of barrels.  ;)

As with any type epoxy product, the longer it takes to cure the stronger it is! JB-Qwik(or however they misspelled it) is no different, you sacrifice strength for speed.
