Only if America stays stupid. I know I won't vote for him. I did not the first time, and I won't a second.  >:(

I think the jury is still out on this one.  It will depend on how many of those supporters are un-employed at the time of the next election.  I understand the Unions supported him, now they are finding members out of work, that won’t go well.

What it boils down to is just how many of the liberal communist voters still support him.  He will never get my vote!

Heck, if the news media has anything to say about it, he'll be appointed el presidente for life.

A better question might be: Will there be another election?

Exactly! And my money is on NO! There is no way he will give up his throne.

And if there is an election his "National Security Force" will be at the polls to assist you in voting correctly.

Well there is no shortage of fools that would vote for him, but times are pretty rough and unpredictable in this world.  A lot can happen in the next 3 1/2 years and so far his performance hasn't proven to be acceptable, in my opinion.

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

nothing he has done has either worked or failed YET . So he had enough to get elected and so far why would they change their mind ? It is evident that history or facts played little in the decision making process of those that voted for for him . It seemed to be vote the guy in that will give us the most free stuff. So only when he fails to deliver will his power fade . When the bubble bust it will be over .

I agree it depends on if the people that voted for him are happy or not.  If people are out of work, or social programs are shutting down due to all governmnts being flat broke (I'm helping that happen!) then many will turn on him and look for another person to "save" them, or give them "stuff"...that's just the way people are, or at least a lot of the people that voted for him in the first place.  I think in a few months, things staying the same or worse, the low ratings that congress has now, the way people feel about the bail outs, and the overall lack of trust in the government, will start to drag him down like a boat anchor.  A lot of the people that voted for him are not going to be loyal...they want their stuff, or maybe someone elses stuff.  Add to that his low drone of a voice that turns a simple question into a full blown speech that goes way off track and not really saying anything, that is already getting old to a lot of people.  If you don't listen to anything but the tone of his voice, it's soothing enough, but as soon as they actually try to make sense of it all it's just going to get painful.  Yes Clinton got relected, but people for the most part had jobs too...and if you remember,  they did replace his enitire Congress in his second term.  That sent a pretty good message to Washington,  let's hope that happens in 2010.

Normally, that would be true.
However, you have to look at who the people blame for this mess. That person is George Bush and not Barrack Obama.

Fastforward to Nov, 2012. If the public is again asked "Who caused the recession - Bush or Obama?", I believe the people are going to still say Bush.

The Congress on the other hand is not going to be given a free pass because the leadership is just piss poor. As a lifetime democrat, I would love for us to take control over both houses for a number of years and get the things passed that need to be passed (safe social security, universal healthcare, a more agressive tax bracket on upper incomes / end of loopholes, etc).
That's not going to happen though as Reid and Pelosi are not competent enough to get it done. We're going to lose some in 2010 - that's for sure.

curtism1234 ,  there are a small handfull of Democrats and republicans in Congress (SMALL handfull) who we don't hear about that are standing together and have not gone along with hardly any of this nonsense...God bless tham they are alone and unheard and out voted.  To me those few are not republicans or democrats, they are Americans,  and the rest of them all are party people beholden to a party.  The conservatives and conservative republicans voted out the republicans for voting with the democrats, took some guts, I hope some conservatives and conservative democrats show the same guts in 2010 and walk away.  I would like to see people from all over, both reps and dems walk away from the bad ones no matter what party,  and join together long enough to stop the silly ones and give them all the boot.  They can always go back to bickering about party stuff after the fix.  I would like to see independent party come alive, but it seems hopeless with this two party system with all of them voting the same way, which is to spend our money they neither we, nor they, have.  Shoot...I wish Congress would just use a calulator if they don't want to look at history...something logical anyway.

He WILL be reelected if he is still alive to run again.  He is like the politicians in my home state, they block vote (vote by nationality or race NOT by what the persons position is on current situations).  My only consolation is that I did'nt vote for him.
If I agreed with you then we would both be wrong.

I think he stands an excellent chance.

He got all the votes of the communist democrats and effectively got all the votes of the facist republicans.

They are the same party after all.

If the race comes down to a democrat or a republican Obama will win.

I don't think you will have to worry about the Muslims coming into your country however with Amnesty looming for 12 to 20 million, add their family members that are going to come you are looking at 30 million approx. ACORN will see to it that they get to vote, citizens or not and the Dems will have an even larger majority outcome.

I agree --- people like Frank and Dodd though have worn out their welcome and need to go. Frank - because he's an idiot. Dodd - because he's an idiot and has probably broken the law.

If the Obamanation is taken out, it had better be by his wife for fooling around.  Otherwise, he will become a martyr and we sure don't need another one of them to name streets, bridges, parks, ships and everything else for.
