I don't see much of an advantage over the .32 H&R Magnum if you reload. My 4" SP101 chronos at 1300 fps with the 100 XTP - without excess pressure signs and with apparently infinite case life (Starline). The H&R was hamstrung from the beginning with a low pressure limit due to the junk H&R revolvers it was introduced in. Had
Ruger revolvers been the original platform it would have been spec'd to 35,000 psi and would have been something much more than what it now is.
The .327 is an attempt to "fix" that problem. Saddly, it appears to have been as poorly carried out as the original .32 Mag was.
