Hi all.  Anyone shooting/carrying one of these?  What are your thoughts?

I looked at one and liked it, but the lack of reloading components backed me off.
I'm sure they will get more plentiful, as for now I stayed with the 38.

  I looked at it and couldn't get excited.  It's like a 30 carbine, with a rim.  But you do get to pay more....

I keep hoping for a marlin lever gun in 327 to go with my ruger 32 h&r. I wonder what it could do in a carbine.

 I have nothing against it but since I have an assortment of 38s & 357s I don't see a reason to buy one. I'm all set up to mold bullets & reload the others so I'll stay where I'm at.

I never could find one, been a recall on the Rugers, gun dealer said  he had 3 bad Charter 327's, I would like that round in a rifle or carbine...............

I don't see much of an advantage over the .32 H&R Magnum if you reload.  My 4" SP101 chronos at 1300 fps with the 100 XTP - without excess pressure signs and with apparently infinite case life (Starline).  The H&R was hamstrung from the beginning with a low pressure limit due to the junk H&R revolvers it was introduced in.  Had Ruger revolvers been the original platform it would have been spec'd to 35,000 psi and would have been something much more than what it now is.

The .327 is an attempt to "fix" that problem.  Saddly, it appears to have been as poorly carried out as the original .32 Mag was.    ::)
