Did you guys hear about the Navy Seal that lives near Huntsville here in Texas. He is the lone survivor of a seal team that fought off a couple of hundred Taliban in afganistan in 05.
Well anyway it seems that he was given a yellow lab puppy to help with his recovery! One night last week some inbreds were driving around shooting dogs with a 357. Seems they stopped at his house (unknowingly) and executed his Dog. Her name was DASY, those letters represent the first letters of the nicknames of his Seal Team.
He gets in his truck and chases them through 2 or 3 counties at high speeds, call 911 and tells them what is going on. Luckily for the perps the law catches them before he can get to them. He had two 9mm Berettas with him and wanted a piece of their behinds.
They are now facing multiple charges of cruelty to animals which is a felony here now!
Check into this Seal he wrote a book about his experience in Afganistan
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/6365427.html"All it took was the gunshot fired outside his Walker County home to trigger training ingrained in former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, the lone survivor of a dramatic battle in Afghanistan in 2005. "
"He did a sweep through the house. Checked on his mother. And bolted out the door, where he found dead his beloved Labrador retriever, Dasy, a dog given to him to help him recover from his own wounds and the loss of his fellow Navy comrades."
“I could tell she tried to get away because there was a blood trail,” Luttrell recalled in a phone interview Wednesday. “When I saw she was dead, the only thing that popped into my head was, ‘I’ve got to take these guys out.’ ”
