Note: Although I strongly disagree with him on most things, Obama gets a pass since he's only been in less than 100 days. In fact, it will be similarly difficult to judge President Bush--the lens of time changes opinion on Presidents. But since there are such strong feelings about the man on both sides, I figured it only fair to include him.

Since I was limited to 5 options, I exercised my own opinion somewhat and left off Ford, Reagan, and Bush 41. Those Presidents are generally regarded ranging from benign to great, so there were better (worse?) choices to pick from out there.

He ruined the White House and what is stands for ,and along the Journey he Deregulated things we are just now seeing and may Never Fix
He was a Pig, a Defector,First Black Prez,Scrambled cell Phones and....... I can go on but Blood Pressure says no
He just did all his Crimes and NO Goods, with a suit on, so most of the U.S. didn't notice

No need to go further back. Just assume Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Bush all under the same umbrella. Obama, however has already in my opinon exceeded all three I have named, and will make them look like Sunday School teachers.

LBJ. Pussyfooting around in Vietnam, and his so-called "Great Society" program, supposedly a war on poverty, which has actually greatly increased poverty and moral degradation in this country. LBJ gave us the welfare class, and they've been expanding at an ever increasing rate ever since.

Carter:

First he gutted the military, and refused to give them the money to maintain their equipment. Then he sends them off on a mission and gets a bunch of them killed due to equipment breakdown. The equipment (Airplanes) failed due to lack of replacement parts and maintenance.

He does nothing about the hostages in the Iranian embassy, and set the stage for the embassy bombing in Beirut.

He gives away the Panama canal.

He turned most of Alaska into National Parks and Preserves, making it impossible to do any thing such as mining or drilling for oil or gas. Even if the product is on state land, we can't reach it because in most cases we have to cross Federal land to get there. The feds refuse to give permits to cross their land or make the restrictions so stringent that they are unusable.

He lobbied for and got ANILCA passed.

IMO it's a toss up between LBJ and Carter. But I have all the confidence in the world that 'O' will out do them by a mile before he's done.

I had one impulse was to pick Jimmy Carter - whom I believe to have been our weakest president, and who did a terrible job because of his weakness. But, when Lyndon Johnson was president (my CIC during the Viet Nam war) I didn't realize what was going on from the White House. Years afterwards, when I learned more of the dishonest conduct of the war starting with the "rigged" Gulf of Tonkin incident, and thinking about many friends that are dead because of that war, I would say that Johnson's deception and poor leadership was more painful than Carter's weakness.

Carter-thousands of Hatian refugee's with aids,(which RR got blamed for)Iranian hostage situation, which RR solved in a matter of days. Double digit inflation, which caused double digit interest rates on loans. His wife had more testosterone in her system than he did. He was a wimp. LBJ - he let us down in Viet Nam and enacted the idea that poor people, especially those not working are ENTITLED to a greater standard of living off of our tax dollars. In my opinion this is where the slippery slope started for our compounded economic woes.

Carter ranks a close second as an impotent, idealistic left winger.
