offset weaver mounts

I picked up a sporterized mauser.  The mounts are spaced too far apart to mount the Nikon 6.5 x 20.   Does anyone know of offset weaver mounts?  (not offset to the side but fore/aft.)

I think what you're looking for are extension rings.  Weaver makes them in both high and medium heights and packages them as 2 extension rings or 1 extension and 1 regular ring.
