The manuals say soemthing about "don't take the rifle apart under any circumstances" or some such nonsense.
The 92 action must be completely dissassembled to remove the bolt. The bolt is the first part in and the last part out. The hammer blocks it into place.
I clean my 92's by placing them upside down in the cleaning cradle with the barrel pointed upwwards at a slight angle. This allows the solvent to drip out the top instead of into the action. I made delrin bushings that fit over the end of the barrel and will keep the rod off of the crown. Clean in the usual manner.
This also applies to 73's 76's 86's 92's and 94's. The 95 is the only Browning design lwinchester ever action that allows easy removal of the bolt for cleaning. I recently acquired a Take Down 86, now that makes cleanign easy.
