Picked up a Topper 410
« on: April 16, 2009, 02:02:10 AM »
Well, I been casually looking around for a while, to pick up a 410 single shot.  Went to the local gun shop, and there was a little topper 410.  The barrel and the nickle receiver were in great shape, but the black pistol grip stock showed some real "wear and tear".  Doesn't matter, cause I'm gonna get a cinnamon lam or camo lam straight stock to fit it.  Bought the little gun for $95-it'll cost me that much to get the new stock.  Gonna use it squirrel hunting when I don't feel like taking my Marlin 39A, .22.

I put together a little 22 inch .410, 3 inch, full choke for bunnies and squirrels and it is sweet.  Light and fast swinging.  I'm just now putting together the same gun in 20 ga. Modified for a grouse gun.  Good luck with yours, I think you'll like it.
