Creating a remote link on a wireless network
« on: April 16, 2009, 04:23:26 AM »
The task would be to create a remote link on one computer to access another computer within the same household.

I do not want to hardwire and especially do not want an Internet subscription to share folders or the like.

My resources would be your common wireless modem designed for household use and a couple of computers of course. Is this possible?

You just need a wireless network card.

thanks Soot, with everthing working ok I just suspected that some software would be needed. Makes sense that a wireless network card would be the ticket and should come with it's own software.

Edit: What is that contraption in your Avator?
Re-Edit: Ah-ha! a golf ball mortor! very cool, can you see them fly downrange?
