crack on ruger sr9 frame

just had ruger sr9 crack.  The frame broker right at the take down pin.  Any one else heard of this or seen this.  I thought they were rugged guns

Was this a new pistol? I am questioning, as they did have a recall when they first came out. I am also thinking about buying one myself.
