Obama insult to Georgetown

Obama slams Christians two ways at once.  First, he has Georgetown University, one of the premier Catholic universities in the world, cover the inititials that have symbolized Jesus for centuries: IHS.  Then he quotes a biblical parable in his speech.  If he has the stones to dictate to a religious institution what they can and cannot show when he comes as a guest, then he had best not use the words that inform that institution.  The leaders of Georgetown who ordered the IHS covered also then have complicity in this act.  What will they do when the "Big O" begins to refer to himself as the Morning Star?  One of the great principles of the Catholic church has been its distancing itself from whatever government is in power, so that it then acts as a counterweight to unjust regimes.    Given the choice between the "honor" of a presidential visit and having to cover any religious symbol in my church, I would be sending regrets to the "Prez."

  Just how ignorant is this man and his rabid followers ? He quotes a scripture referring to the ROCK. All through Scriptures, Jesus is referred to as THE ROCK. So he ignorantly quotes a Scripture referring to the one whose monogram he required to be covered up...DUH!

  Here's a guy that claimed to have attended church for at least 20 years and still did not know that Jesus is THE ROCK ? Is that church ignorant and false ...or is that man ignorant and false ? Or is it both ?

  I still call the honchos of Georgetown out for it ! Even if Obama IS ignorant, they should have known better !
