I know, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Can the lowly Chinese air rifles be upgraded/reworked to get better performance?  Does anybody offer this sort of work?

I remember reading about a retailer that put in better triggers and seals on their Chinese guns, I think it was an outfit out of Iowa, but cannot remember the name.  I had 2 of the older Chinese guns from the early 90's, they were not very good, so I am reluctant to get another unless the quality is alot better.

I had Tim at Mac 1 do a basic tune my qb78 (Chinese knock off of Crossman CO2) and it was a big improvement. He will do more, depends on how much you want to $pend but I'm happy with his work and good turn around.http://www.mac1airgun.com/  He's been at this a long time.
