Knock them dead Tom and have fun.
Make sure you get your spaceman vocals up to speed so the bears don't eat ya.

Good luck Tom. Keep your fingers out of the 330's and keep your feet dry.

Picked up alot of bvr this spring, alot more than on winter thru ice line.... dont know where they all came from..... Another good thing was  didnt have any bites in hides.... Started early so possibly avoided  that problem.... the second week of trapping , were  picking up more females  and water very very low plus temps up high so pulled.   Very happy with bvr hides conditions.    Only had about one in every twenty five hides that had any slippage in neck area.... No bear problems or wolf this year  munching our bvrs  in traps but they were definately all over the place....

I just got a call from a land owner to take out some problem beavers. I've been whacking beavers at this guys place every so often for the last 4 years. Having property on the back waters of the Mississippi there is no end to beavers trying to set up living in this spot. I only wish he would have called me earlier as he said they moved in last fall. They only started cutting where it bothered him this spring so he didn't bother.
I trap this place for the trapping privlages so I hope I'm not going to get just junk bit up hides, which they wil probably be now.

Mac what sets you make , make sure that the bvr are on drowners to put bvr completely underwater, deep if possible... Also if you have to use bodygrips , put them on a slider if possible if by deep water.  Dont stake body grip solid so bvr can  take bodygrip underwater and down slider if possible....  Hopefully with  this type of setup , any bvr you get     wont get bit up anymore  than from what fights they already have had...good luck.....

When does MN. beaver season end? They might have to cancel next years due to Boggy catching them all.LOL Can't wait till he returns to here about the catch.
