Good morning everyone.....

Well it's time to get out and work the ground critters, as I was practicing out to 60 yards yesterday hitting the spots on my bag target.  Now I got to get some judo points and get to critter getting  ;D

Great weather again today.

Good Morning Montana!

Well, I'm happy to see the date thing from yesterday get straightened out. ;) In all fairness to Double D, when a man retires, he shouldn't have to keep track of time anymore. He should just have to worry about having fun.

I had some fun last night with my 6-year-old daughter. We neck sized 100 .223 cases. Usually that would take me about 30-45 minutes, however, with the baby girl helping, it easily took 2 hours. ;D Her job was to take a case and place it in the shell holder, and then I would work the press. But, she wasn't satisfied with such a simple job, so she would take all the un-necked cases left in the loading tray and line them up on the bench, make figures out of them, drop them on the floor, hide them from me, and just all around have a good time teasing daddy with the cases. ;) After around 2 hours of this we were finally finished and she actually learned a few good loading practices in spite of her quest for pure fun. ;D I would not have had it any other way though. To me, the fun was being with her while doing a little reloading. She's pretty close to 7 now. I'm betting that by the time she is 9 (if not sooner) she'll be able to load her own ammo all by herself (with my supervision, of course). She sure is eager to learn. Anything old dad does, she wants to be right there in on it. ;D That's my baby.

It is fun having the little ones want to help daddy all the time, now if I could just get the older ones to do the same life would be good. ;D  Too many other things going on now a days, things keep changing so fast it's a bugger to keep up.  I'm really sorry my kids aren't going to know the joy of taking your shotgun to school and putting it in your locker to go bird hunin' after school.  No alarm was issued when you went inside with your gun, just "Hey whatcha there, can I see it?" coming from  classmates and teachers alike.  Sad to see times like that gone forever. :'(  Gotta tell ya, it's just hot outside today, hit 80 yesterday and felt good, but even warmer today.  Promised everyone a BBQ tonight so better get with the program.  Doug, gonna have to bring that 1916 with ya so I can see it.  DP

It was a beautiful day here in Cut Bank today. Currently 68 degrees and getting cloudy and windy.

Wore my shorts today...okay so I wore my shorts because a I had a follow up with the knee Doctor...he says I am progressive quite fine.

That's it, the only other thing I did today was read.  Currently reading Bernard Cornwell's Sharpes's Battle.  Got 10 or 12 pages read before my eyelides block my vision...

Don't feel bad Douglas, I've been wearing my shorts for several days... because it is warm and I aint worried about tight jeans and having that wrangler butt any more.  ;D
