Good morning everyone, well a little cooler today than yesterday and the coffee is on.
Thought I would share with you all here what I did yesterday......
Now I know most of you use a rifle to hunt with, but for me it will be with the bow. We have a local state park that has an outdoor range, complete with wind and any critters that happen along. The yellow in the sign indicates the outdoor range.
Heading up to where the range is........ huff and puff man I got to get in shape.
Okay, finally came up to the first target.... 40 yards in a bad cross wind.
Well this next target was much better at 20 yards.
Headed down the trail to another target.....
Dang that looks like an elk down there, and its all down hill at 35 yards.
This is not a target, but while walking discovered that I was being watched..... After I got the pictures of this doe, I turned around to see a nice red fox, but could not get a picture of it in time.
Here is a nice tom slightly up the hill at 25 yards
Another whitetail deer at 20 yards
Here is a bear target at 35 yards
This is my Mathews Drenalin Bow, Easton Axis FMJ 400's with 100 gr field points.
Today I had alot of fun, running this course which gives a whole new meaning to being in shape. I'm glad I headed over here, now the only thing I wish I had with me today was a climber that would of added another dimension to this whole thing.
I got alot more pics of the over look area that shows the Flathead Valley. Here your looking directly east across the valley to see what is left of the snow on the Rockies.
In the middle of this picture where the snow capped peaks are kissing the sky, your looking into Glacier National Park.
I hope you all enjoyed my world for a day.
