leupold vx-1 vs. leupold rifleman scope

what is the differnce in these scopes in the real world, hunting deer in central nc? gonna put it on a 30-30 handirifle

Not much in performance and about $30 in cost.
We learn something new everyday whether we want to or not.

With the VX-I you can have the reticle changed, not so with the Rifleman...

I have replaced my reticles in 2 deer rifles and had the Heavy Duplex put in, it really helps in low light...I had the VX-II Compact on my 541-T sent back and had the parallex adjusted to 75 yards...So there are some advantages...

btw...I'm in Asheboro...Good luck this season...

The VX-I also has better lens coatings.
