I have a changes to buy a T C Icon  in 308 cal with wood stock  for $ 650. is this a good deal , are they good shooters,   any input please?

Well, I have 2 questions for you first.  How is the overall look of the gun (blueing and scratches on the stock, etc.)?  Next, how many times has it been shot?

They typically run $800-850 for a brand new one, so if if the round count is low and it's not all beat up I'd grab it.

If I way you, I would have already bought it.  I have never handled an Icon, but I have several of their Encores and muzzleloaders all are great.  Can only imagine how well their Bolt rifles preform.
