Took the new to me 30-30 Topper and the aught six to the range today. Loaded up some cast loads for both. I am amazed how wonderful they shoot with cast loads. Thinking I might use exclusively on targets and save the jacketed stuff for hunting The aught six really responded well to the cast loads Any comments?

Keep shootin' them. Don't overlook the cast for hunting though. Depending on what you are hunting, they can do a good job. Might not try them on thick skinned beasts, but on deer they can be effective.
