thought about polishing up the ramp on my .40 but can't get my fat fingers down and do it right. has anyone drifted out the barrel pins and removed the barrel from the frame? looks simple enough but I'am not touching it until I get some feedback or advice. I still get some hang-ups and think a little smoothing would help.

Removing the barrel is as simple as you think, drive out the pins and out it comes. have you seen this?

Thanx Greg, I've got a Dremel but its one speed with no extention. I might try a little cordless drill and my polishing tip and see how that works. Thanx for the link, seems like others want to spif up that ramp as well
