I think the Coleman vs. Franken thing will turn out this way:
1) There are two issues: the outcome of the race, and the process used to decide it.
2) I believe Franken will win the race
3) The process used in the canvassing board process needs to be challenged as high as the federal supreme court, if necessary. The process used was not consistent from county to county, and is therefore tainted. I do not believe that the board was deliberately doing anything wrong, but they made judgement errors that need to be challenged, and precedents set.
4) There is absolutely no reason to rush the process. Coleman, dirtbag that he is, deserves full due process with no shortcuts.
5) Franken as senator will be a good thing, because it sends such a strong message to the republicans that their only option is to mend their ways and do what it takes to return to power.
