Reminton 750- 35 Whelen- issue with ejected cases
« on: April 28, 2009, 08:28:33 AM »
I started a thread in Semi Auto and Pump Hunting Rifles about mangled necks on the ejected cases in my Reminton 750 before I realized all the smart guys are probably hanging out in the Reminton Firearm section  ;)! Please take a look if you have any experience with the 750 in 35 Whelan.
Thanks

Remingtons have held a long and deserved bad reputation of jamming.  I had hoped the new 750 would have corrected the issues far too often seen with the 742s and 7400s.

Sadly, they're accurately called Remington JAM-O-MATICS for a reason.

I hope you get the bugs worked out.

By the way, before anyone thinks otherwise, we kept our Remingtons cleaned and properly lubed. So NO, we didn't have jams due to poor maintenance.
