Tater shooter stuff
« on: April 29, 2009, 03:08:11 PM »
I ran across this site while clearing out some of my old bookmarked stuff.
Looks like they're still around and have some items that you can't get at the
local hardware store. How about a rifled barrel for your spudgun?

It would be awesome to have some of that clear pipe, but it's WAY too expensive for whats supposed to be a CHEAP project.  That pvc metering setup they're selling is very similar to the one I designed.

If anyone's building a spudgun, that site's the place to start getting the info.  I came up with the dimensions for my big gun after reading the "theory" page on there.  It worked out great.

That's what I thought when I saw it. The metering setup looks just like what you described.
You're right about turning a cheap project into something pricey. I used to make them and
either give them away or sell for cost. (about $20 at the time)
