Anyone have any experiance with this cartriige in the TC encore.  I have an sks which I used for hunting deer. but  now I'm looking at this round in an encore barrel.

Barrel length?

Twist rate?

Don't bother with this round. It is not accurate. Some say it is but if you get a custom barrel made there are choices out there far superior. Looking for a real nice round without much kick? 300 Savage. Good for bear and deer, and accurate too, and cheap if you reload. If you don't reload you are really missing out on some fun.
