Russian Professor predicts Republic of Texas
« on: May 01, 2009, 06:06:11 PM »
I haven't seen anything on here about this.   So I went surfing on the net and did see one article where the Govenor of Texas stated he's thinking about suceeding from the Union.

What I saw was a map of the United States this guy drew up that shows a line beginning and including the state New Mexico across to the eastern seaboard, all states south of that line (he claims) will join Texas to become the Republic of Texas.

The professor's name was not mentioned, but he sees eventual civil war in the U.S.A.
What do you guys think?

If you look at it, Democracy is a system that allows a constant civil war.
Will a physical war break out?
If'n you get all the right players involved at the correct time and space.
Why would we be any different than any other nation?
Blessings

I wonder who all these Russian professors are making weird predictions about the US. There seems to be a rash of such predictions lately.

Although it sounds like a great idea given the attitudes and the deafness in Washington these days, I doubt someone from Russia has anymore idea what is going on down here in Texas, than the D.C.'ers do.

I would say that both would run a close race in that dept.  ;)

Whoa !  Hey look at this ~
Right here on 'Round the old Pot Belly Stove' Rockbilly's Topic  "gotta love Oklahoma" here is an excerpt from his post ~
Quote
Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as
a  Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives.

That,  for your information, makes Oklahoma and Texas the only states to
do so.  Guess what.........More states are likely to follow.  Louisiana, Alabama,
Georgia, both Carolina's, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri,
Arkansas,  West Virginia, just to name a few
.

I'd say that Professor is on to something, because what he said is right in line with what is going on according to Rockbilly.

Texas aint the only one.

Ever hear of the United States Of Alaska?  It's being talked about Alaska voiding the Statehood act due to violations by the United States of America not living up to their obligations spelled out in the Statehood Act.  Then Alaska would divide itself into five different states by the five different geographic areas.

Sara Palin would be our first President.  Al Gore, Peta members, members of Defenders Of Wildlife, along with the Sierra Club would be on a restricted access list.
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Here is an article that is somewhat relevant to the topic.

Civil Unrest in America?

Eurasia is currently experiencing serious problems derived from financial and economic difficulties such as unemployment, GDP negative growth, currency depreciation, overall economic slowdown and so on. Several members of both the European Union and NATO (Poland, Hungary, Iceland come to mind) are already dealing with a considerable deal of domestic discontent. Some States from the Former Soviet Union (notably Ukraine, Belarus and the Central Asian Republics) and even Russia itself are facing similar problems. Even Chinese government officials acknowledge protests in the Chinese mainland, as pointed out by Professor Michael Klare, which means that East Asia is by no means an exception. As we shall see, financial and economic conditions are equally grave in the American hemisphere, if not more so.

Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor and early supporter of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, has warned that civil unrest on American soil is a possibility that should not be dismissed. Brzezinski explains that "[the United States is] going to have millions and millions of unemployed, people really facing dire straits. And we’re going to be having that for some period of time before things hopefully improve. And at the same time there is public awareness of this extraordinary wealth that was transferred to a few individuals at levels without historical precedent in America…" Brzezinski concludes with this noteworthy remark "…hell, there could be even riots".

With all this talk of unrest and thoughts of secession from the Union.  It's like the clocks are being turned back 150 years.
Back then the South was upset with the government from the North because it was usurpting its authority over the States.   Today we see similar unrest.    Back then the South really turned sour when they heard Abe Lincoln was elected President.    Today, many States are souring on the things the newly elected President Obama is doing.
Back then the President declared war on the South.    Today we can speculate.
But I think GOD is fed up, and we'd better get prayed up, cause it ain't looking like a bed of roses coming up next.

FourBee, I could not have said it better on all points. I believe God is indeed loosing patients with the U.S. After, we have said NO THANKS to fifty million babies, and still counting. God also says there is nothing new under the sun, so this unrest that is similar to 150 years ago, is a living example, that people really don't change regardless of technology. Technology only makes them fat and lazy.
