First Tikka ordered . . .
« on: May 02, 2009, 10:30:50 AM »
Yesterday, I ordered my first Tikka - it is a T3 Hunter in 30-06.    My son loves his and all I've read from any Tikka owener is positive for accurasy.
Just waiting for my local FFL guy to call and say it arrived!
Happy in Iowa.

Awesome! You'll be happy with it. I just picked up my first Tikka last Thursday. It's a Tikka T3 Hunter in .243 Winchester. I can't wait for the DNZ scope mount I ordered to show up so I can mount my scope and take it out to the range... it did come with scope rings, but I decided to go ahead and get a nice solid scope mount for mine instead of using the supplied basses.

I owned two , one in 06 the other 338F. You might find at first the gun not grouping the way it should , but after fifty rounds things do improve .Never used a bronze or brass brush in mine , just soak the bore with a nylon brush then patch it out .Then I also note these rifles are a bit long throated .

I am sure you will like the rifle.
